Building Information Modeling

E-PM

In an industry that generates so much paperwork, Power created a proprietary web-based tool, e-PM, to optimize document distribution and control, saving time and money. Our electronic Spec Book includes notes, updates and historical records, received and logged electronically, making them immediately available to all project team members. Electronic processing of project documents such as RFI’s, submittals, shop drawings, payment applications, and change orders boosts efficiency and offers opportunities to take advantage of Lean construction techniques.

 

WinEst

Power is using WinEst®  as a cost estimating tool and historical cost database. It allows for sophisticated research on unit cost data. By applying standard cost indices and cost averaging techniques, our team can provide extremely accurate estimates in a much more efficient manner.

OnCenter On-Screen Takeoff®

As an alternative to developing BIM models for quantity takeoffs, Power is combining the WinEst estimating software with On-Screen Takeoff software.  Our estimators use On-Screen Takeoff to determine quantities that are then fed back into the WinEst SQL database.
